Everything I Wanted: A blog for my thoughts

Everything I wanted

“I had a dream, I got everything I wanted,”

When I started this blog, maybe two months ago, I meant for it to be something monetary. A kind of passive income honestly.

With me being somewhat good with my English, writing is somewhat easy-ish for me to do.

But, even with the few posts I’ve made, I’ve uncovered more that I want to use this blog for.

This isn’t an update, or me saying that I’m gonna change the way I approach this blog. It’s just more of me writing down the things I truly want in general. And how my writing here, has impacted/ hopefully will impact how I reach my goals.

I think one thing that I’ve always desperately needed, but never had, was an escape. Yes, ladies an gentlemen, the cliche is overwhelmingly obvious.

The truth is, people can’t handle the truth, which is both why everyone kind of needs that escape from reality. Why everyone at the same time needs an outlet.

I think weirdly enough though, writing about things, gives me an immense amount of power and control over everything.

I don’t fully need to hold on to things just because I feel like I won’t remember. All of the pain, anger, or even happiness I felt at times.

This blog gives me something a diary could give me. Full power and security to do and say what I want; it gives me the power to let go of things without fear of loss. It gives me a chance to reflect and even feel out where I am in the situation. In a way it gives me everything I wanted and needed from life. I’ve been told by two therapists, several counselors, and a good number of teachers, that I should get a journal.

The fun things this gives me that a real diary can’t is an audience. A feeling of urgency/responsibility, feedback, and also that possible passive income in the future.

In these coming months though. I’m going to genuinely try to make more posts about everything, even if just for myself.

I want some non-flammable record of my life, even if kept anonymous. I feel a massive change coming for 2020. We’ll see how that goes.
