In Need of a Free Car: Journey to Get One

It’s something I’ve known in the back of my head for years; something I’ve come to terms with for a while now, and something I now desperately need to do something about. My father will not help me in the ways that I need. And life just keeps moving forward for me. I NEED A CAR! And I’ve got 3 methods in mind on how to get it. Sadly, like most college students, I’m not in a job where I can just up and get a car. I could try to find that type of work, but realistically I’m going to need lengthy transportation, A.K.A. not bus or bike to even afford most things. I’ve really hit a breaking point in my life. I really need change right now.

So, my three options are scholarships, requesting a donated car, and contacting my financial aid office at my school. It’ll take a while for me to be able to contact financial aid. I don’t know if I’m going to HAVE to use scholarly, because they make you pay for their shit. I’m going to have to do something in terms of scholarships, one of my few strong-suits in life is writing. Now more than ever seems like the time for me to really dive deep with that.

The other, is looking for a website that gives donated free cars. Seems perfect, but you have to fit certain criteria. The first site I found, I fit everything except “if you are under 25, you must have children”. I’ll hopefully find something. With the crisis at hand.

I still have to donate plasma for the second time for the second $100. But I’m not sure the $200 would fully help that cause. I also need to call chase to unfreeze my credit card. And to possibly order more. I might have to consider loans and credit for this, which is something I’m very afraid to do.
